A short note from our team on what we’re actually being called out for around the North Shore right now.
What’s the latest trend?
Coming into the new year we have seen a large increase in the demand for ceiling fans and electric shudders. This is probably due to the hot weather on the North Shore during the summer months. Personal electric chargers are growing massively, we are installing roughly one a week. This trend does not seem to be slowing.
DemandChanges in repairs and maintenance?
We are doing lighting and power point repairs this January. Lots of people have new appliances and gadgets they have from Christmas they are using, and often these require upgraded power points. Also we are fixing a lot of smart systems. Sydney’s weather changes can create moisture that can cause issues for some smart systems screens and sensors. As more new builds move to a full smart home system we are expecting this to increase.
RepairsWhat to expect in the coming months
We expect things to get a bit busier coming out of the Christmas period. Currently we are booked out for roughly a week in advance. This seems to be the case for most electricians operating in the area. If you have something you are looking to get done, it’s best to get it booked in soon before the building and construction gets back into full swing.
